Hyperbolas:
- A hyperbola is a plane which has two points on a different place on the graph, a hyperbola is one function, with non-continuous points
- The graph of a hyperbola looks like two parabolas facing away from each other with their own focus and vertex
- There are hyperbolas with the center at (0,0) and hyperbolas with their center at (h,k)
- Hyperbolas are related to the Pythagorean Theorem: a²+ b²= c², which can also be written as: c²- a² = b²
- Depending on which side of the hyperbola the parabola is on:
